Bets and payouts
- Straight up on one number: pays 35 to 1.
- Split on two numbers: 17 to 1.
- Street on three: 11 to 1.
- Corner on four: 8 to 1.
- Six line on six: 5 to 1.
- Dozen and column on twelve: 2 to 1.
- Red/black, odd/even, high/low: 1 to 1.
Every bet on a single-zero wheel carries the same 2.70 percent edge, because the payouts are set as if there were 36 numbers while there are 37. On a double-zero wheel the edge rises to 5.26 percent, and the five-number bet on 0-00-1-2-3 is worse still at 7.89 percent. French roulette's la partage rule returns half of an even-money stake when zero hits, halving the edge on those bets.
Variants in the lobby
European is the baseline and the right default. French adds la partage and the racetrack for call bets such as voisins du zéro and tiers. American exists for players used to it; there is no mathematical reason to choose it. Lightning Roulette and similar multiplier games pick one to five lucky numbers each spin with multipliers from 50x to 500x on straight-up bets, but a regular straight-up win pays 29 to 1 instead of 35 to 1; the overall RTP stays near 97.3 percent, so the trade is volatility, not value. Auto roulette removes the dealer and the chat and spins twice as often, which doubles the hourly cost at the same stake.
Live roulette tables
The live section runs tables from Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live, Ezugi, Winfinity and Playtech, with VIP tables at higher limits and localised tables with Arabic-speaking dealers. Betting time is about fifteen to twenty seconds, the wheel is physical and the ball is launched by the dealer. Favourite bets can be saved and re-placed with one tap. Limits on each tile show the minimum and maximum per bet, and the table maximum on straight-up numbers is usually lower than on outside bets.
Staking a session
Progressions such as Martingale do not change the edge; they change the shape of results from many small wins to rare large losses, and table maximums end them sooner than most players expect. A flat stake of 1 to 2 percent of the session budget on outside bets gives the longest session; a small part of the budget on straight-up numbers gives the chance of a big single win. Roulette is excluded from most bonus wagering or counted at a low rate (bonus page). The software version is covered in the table games guide, the studio tables in the live dealer section.
