Competitions and markets
The IPL is the biggest single event in cricket betting and gets the fullest line: match winner, toss winner, top batter and bowler for each side, player runs and wickets, total match sixes and fours, first-over runs and runs in each over range. SA20, the Big Bash, the PSL and the Caribbean Premier League carry a similar but slightly smaller set. International fixtures are priced by format, with Test matches adding draw and session markets and the first-innings lead.
- Match winner, including the draw in Tests.
- Top team batter and bowler, player of the match.
- Total runs in the first 6, 10, 15 and 20 overs.
- Innings runs and wickets, fall of next wicket.
- Method of next dismissal, runs off the next over.
- Series winner and correct series score.
How format shapes the odds
In T20 the gap between sides is narrow, so match winners cluster between 1.70 and 2.20 and the toss matters more than almost anywhere else in sport; chasing teams win more often under lights on dewy evenings. One-day matches reward the stronger bowling attack and widen the favourite's price. Tests bring the draw into play, especially on flat pitches and when weather is forecast. Venue history and pitch reports published on the morning of the match are worth more than overall team form.
Live cricket
Live markets in cricket run ball by ball. The most traded are runs in the next over, fall of next wicket and the innings total, which settle in minutes rather than hours. The match winner price moves with every boundary and wicket, and cash out is available through both innings. Rain delays suspend all markets; when overs are reduced, settlement follows the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern result and markets based on full-innings counts are voided as described in the rules.
- Check the pitch report and the toss before betting the innings total.
- In T20, the first six overs set the tone; wait for them before taking a live total.
- Back the chasing side in night games where dew is expected.
- Respect the weather; a Test market with rain forecast is a draw market.
Streams, trackers and accumulators
Cricket legs combine with any other sport in accumulators and count toward bonus wagering. Selected franchise leagues are streamed; everywhere else the tracker shows the scorecard and the required rate, which is what you need for over-by-over markets anyway. Bet types are on the sportsbook guide; in-play tactics on the live betting page.

Common questions
What happens to bets if rain stops play?
If a result is reached under the DLS method, match winner bets settle on it. Markets that depend on a full innings are voided as stated in the rules.
Does the toss market pay before the match?
Toss winner settles as soon as the toss result is official.
Is the top batter market settled on the whole match?
It is settled per innings for the named team. Ties are split according to dead-heat rules.
Are Kenya and Nigeria national team matches priced?
Associate internationals are covered when they appear on the official calendar, usually with a smaller market set.
